Welcome to the homepage for the Copernicus Climate Academy, a project funded by Copernicus Climate Change Serveice National Collaboration Programme project, under the Action 2025-5: Education and learning.
The main goals of the project is to raise the awareness of C3S data and tools in Czechia and train a new generation of skilled teachers and C3S users by developing, pilot testing and implementation of educational materials and tailoring them to audience requirements.

Partners
The primary investigator of the CCA project is Charles University. We are connecting 8 leading Czech universities + 2 NGOs across Czechia, a network of schoolteachers and trainers of regional public entities.

- 10 educational materials (8x for universities, 1x for school teachers, 1x for public administration)
- Pilot testing (1x per partner), refinement, & integration into university curricula (into more than 16 courses, engaging more than 30 teachers and 600 students)
- Workshops for teachers and public administration personnel
- Dissemination & uptake of C3S resources:
- 1 C3S case study, 8 outreach events
- (workshops, conference talks/posters, Czech Copernicus User conference session)
- Social media outreach
- Monthly newsletters in Czech language

Connecting Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) and Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS)
Ensuring long-term sustainability & usability
- Open-access Czech-langueage resources will be permanently embedded into university curricula, teacher training, and public sector continuous education.
- Materials will be made publicly available via the Copernicus Academy CZ website to ensure their availability for a broader community of users.
